Health Benefits of Drinking Water

Health Benefits of Drinking WaterThe health benefits of drinking water are well documented. We fervently believe that the provision of drinking water available to all staff has a definite positive effect on your workforce.

Our focus is on the positive effects that adequate hydration can have on physical and mental health and wellbeing, both at work and at home. We also appreciate that it’s just one way we can all improve our health and make ourselves happier – but having water coolers available for all staff is a step in the right direction.

The human body consists of 70% water, and all our main organs require hydration to maintain peak condition, especially the brain which consists of up to 85% water. Water is an essential part of our bodies. Without an adequate provision of drinking water at work or home you will have significantly more days off work – this has a definite cost to both employers and employees.

We all feel the affects when the human body is dehydrated. We can suffer headaches, fatigue and poor concentration as a result. This has an affect on our mental and physical efficiency, both at work and play.

At work and at home people must try to drink more fresh water per day. It’s been recognised for several years that we need to drink eight glasses a day for adults, five glasses a day for children. One easy way to see the difference is to get a water cooler in your home for a free trial and see the definite effect that this on you and your childrens health.

Whether you’re using our water cooler service or another, please look after yourself by drinking enough water.

The image shown to the right clearly lays out the key areas where you will improve your health and how your body works by drinking water. If you have any questions please feel free to call us on 011083 8988.
